Hampshire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first class county clubs within England and Wales. While the Southern Vipers is an English Women’s Twenty20 team who compete in the Women’s Cricket Super League. Both of these talented teams are based at the prestigious Ageas Bowl on the outskirts of Southampton. We were delighted to provide lighting, sound and AV equipment for their End of Season Awards Dinner in October 2017.
For this event, we provided an extensive lighting rig of intelligent fixtures including LED spot and wash units to create a gobo wash within the venue. We also installed PATT 2013s to create an eye-catching display for the occasion. The colour scheme for the event was inspired by the kit colours of the two teams. This small but effective touch establishes the branding of the team with the venue. This colour scheme was also reflected on the outside of the venue through the architectural up lighting which our technicians installed.
Our team provided a LD Systems PA with Sennheiser wireless mics to enhance the sound quality of speeches and projected material. To enable the clients to show footage of their sporting achievements throughout the season, O T Event Technicians installed projection equipment with a feed to our PA system.
